Hayley’s career in healthcare began in high school as a CNA at Guttenberg, but her call to service also led her to four years of active duty as a combat medic in the U.S. Army. Today, she continues her service in the Army Reserves while applying her military leadership and healthcare background to long-term care. Along the way, she has also gained experience in counseling and administrative roles, which have sharpened her skills in team management and compassionate care.

As Provisional Administrator, Hayley has brought stability and strength to Guttenberg Care Center by successfully transitioning the facility to agency-free staffing. Through recruiting, training, and retaining dedicated full-time staff, she has improved continuity of care, strengthened accountability, and enhanced the quality of life for residents.

Motivated by a passion for helping others, Hayley strives to create a home-like environment for residents while ensuring staff feel supported and valued. She is proud to lead in her hometown community, where the care center overlooks the Mississippi River—a setting that inspires her work each day.

Lexia’s journey began in this very facility as a CNA, where she first learned the heart of nursing, listening to residents, supporting families, and collaborating closely with staff. Driven to grow, she embraced new responsibilities and leadership opportunities that shaped her into the nursing leader she is today. She believes her role is not only to provide excellent care but also to support and empower her staff to deliver their best possible care.

Lexia has made a significant impact by reducing the reliance on agency nurses and strengthening her department’s continuity of care. Her leadership blends advocacy, compassion, and a deep respect for the trust families place in her team.

Assisted Living Manager, Eagle Ridge Independent & Assisted Living

Janice serves as the Assisted Living Manager at Eagle Ridge, where she leads with compassion and a strong commitment to tenant-centered care. After working for five years as a CNA within the community, Janice stepped into the manager role, a move she credits to her ambition and genuine love for the people she serves. She is especially proud of keeping staff engaged and working together as a team, always ensuring tenants remain the top priority.

For Janice, the goal is simple but powerful: she wants tenants to feel at home and to know they are deeply loved and cared for. Both staff and residents recognize her dedication to prioritizing their needs above all else, creating an environment filled with warmth, trust, and a sense of belonging.
