When my brother James could no longer live safely on his own, his doctor recommended 24-hour care—and Guttenberg Care Center quickly became our first choice. It’s close to family, and we’ve had loved ones stay there before, so we knew the care would be reliable and rooted in the community.

James has always been active, and it was important to us that he continue walking, riding a bike, and staying mobile. Guttenberg gave him access to physical therapy, a safe space to move around, and opportunities for independence that he didn’t have at home. He especially enjoys being outdoors, playing bingo, listening to music, and connecting with people in the dining room.

The staff have been kind and helpful, and a few CNAs and nurses have really made his experience more personal. It means a lot to have familiar faces around who genuinely care about his well-being.
